A generous sized Round Elephant Grass Basket handwoven by artisans in West Africa from Kinkanhe straw. Ideal for trips to the market and beach or for storage around the home. Features a large sturdy leather bound handle.

Bolga basket weaving is a Ghanaian craft from the Bolgatanga region. Kinkanhe or elephant grass surrounds waterholes and once harvested is soaked in water and then twisted together in small bunches to increase durability. 

Note: As a handmade product subtle variations in size and colour add to a unique character and appeal.
